Tragophylloceras Ammonite
This ammonite was found on the beach at Charmouth on the Jurassic Coast of Dorset in 2022 and is a classic ammonite from the green ammonite beds. Tragophylloceras ammonites are a very thin and streamlined ammonite which perhaps helped them with moving through the Jurassic seas 190 million years ago. This ammonite has been prepared mostly shell-on and has a nice light brown colour.
