Promicroceras ammonite from the Jurassic Coast of Dorset, England. This fossil was initially found on the beach at Charmouth, and has been carefully prepared using high-precision tools, keeping the shell fully intact. There is also a tiny baby ammonite which is only 2mm across just below the larger one. Both have spent the last 196 million years together and have finally been revealed to see the light of day once again. The rock has a cut-base so that the piece can be displayed without the need of a stand.
