Promicroceras and Xipheroceras Ammonites

This piece was found on the beach at Charmouth in 2022 and contains a good sized promicroceras ammonite and a small xipheroceras ammonite. These ammonites have both been preserved in the same stone with each other for over 196 million years, and have now been prepared so they see the light of day once again. The ammonites have been prepared mostly shell-on. Found on the Jurassic Coast of Dorset, England. 

Fossil dimensions: largest: 24mm , smallest: 20mm

Rock dimensions: 6.8cm x 4.5cm x 0.7cm
