Two Ichthyosaur Vertebrae
These two Ichthyosaur vertebrae were found at Lyme Regis in 2024 and are likely from an ichthyosaur 1-2m in length. Ichthyosaurs had roughly 180 of these vertebrae in their body. The larger vertebra has an unusual light brown colour which is relatively uncommon. Approximately 195 million years old from the Jurassic Coast of Dorset.
