This Ichthyosaur vertebrae was found on the beach at Seatown in 2025 and likely comes from a medium sized ichthyosaur (1-2m long). The white “flecks” in the bone are where calcite has infilled the holes in the bone where blood vessels were. Ichthyosaurs has roughly 180 of these vertebrae in their body. Approximately 190 million years old.
